the people in the flat next door have an Alexa device and they use the timer stuff nearly as much as I do, which means I keep hearing the "do-do-do-dah-dah-dah" noise of a timer firing and thinking it's mine. This is very annoying. Tempted to shout "Alexa, buy one thousand speedboats" out of the window or something so they throw theirs away
