I deeply regret buying a laptop for Linux with a hidpi screen. With two external 1080p screens, the scaling is all over the place and barely usable. Dangerously close to getting rid of the laptop and replacing it with a 1080p display one.

@popey The only way I get around this is to run the laptop at 1080p and do away with scaling. Not ideal, but cheaper than replacing the laptop :(

@intrbiz @popey I hoped Wayland was the magic auto scaling bullet. But it is not.

It's a shame that Windows has had this sorted out for years...

@bigcalm @intrbiz @popey it hasn't - I run my windows High DPI screen at 1080 so scaling isn't messed up when connected to 1080 external monitors too
