Does @kicad have a way to make panels, i.e. duplicates of the same PCB layout multiple times as clones?

@revk my manual approach so far has been:
1) Import the PCB into a new file
2) Typically modify the board edge and add mouse bites
3) Group it and then use create array
4) Add in all the board edge lines to get the panel desired
It's not great when the original design changes, but having everything grouped does help.
Keep meaning to find if there are better approaches, but typically need more flexibility than some of the plugins I've seen.
