@brucelawson Alanis is playing Glastonbury this year? Fair play to her! I admit I haven’t listened to any of her stuff since Jagged Little Pill, but I listened to that a lot
@sil Beth gibbons, too (on now)
@brucelawson I am now, immediately, watching Beth Gibbons on the Park stage

@brucelawson although unfortunately, while her voice is still absolutely fantastically tremendous, it's over some basically random backing music. (Sorry to the backing band, who are trying their hardest, I'm sure.) It needs Geoff Barrow's music as well as her singing, I think.
@sil glory box and the song that preceeded it had me holding my breath
@brucelawson hang on she does Glory Box? I haven't got that far yet
@brucelawson I have skipped forward a bit.
You would think that having a beard that epic would interfere with your flute playing but apparently no. Fair play to that bloke.
This is... not bad.
@brucelawson the violin seesawing is less good than they think it is. Whispering Love is good poetry, though.
@brucelawson I'll say this: whoever does stage planning needs a bonus or something. The smoky background and blue lighting with Gibbons in silhouette is absolutely how she should look, all the time
@brucelawson wish they'd done Roads.
@brucelawson Glory Box is SUCH a good song
@brucelawson Discussion with my mate Andy in which we have concluded that everybody else thinks that the music that came out when they were 18 is the best ever and nothing else matches up to it, but the difference is that we’re actually RIGHT because Dummy is the best album ever
