Ok, KDE, this is your last warning. Lock up again so that I have to reboot and you get kicked off my machine and I run something else. Be told. The whole point of moving to kubuntu is that people kept saying that KDE is good now. Either it’s unstable everywhere, or is unstable on Ubuntu, and either way it’s obviously not for me. Sigh. Why are computers rubbish?

@sil locking up in what way? I had some Radeon DRM crashes a few weeks back, but that got fixed in a kernel update.

@intrbiz seems to be graphics. Either the screen is on and everything is visible but entirely unresponsive, or once there was a bunch of graphical corruption.

@sil @intrbiz does it happen while you do alt-tab ?i get a freeze/hang while alt-tabbing but wondered if its a result of having wobbly windows enabled.

@simon @intrbiz sometimes yes! I am not sure that’s always when it happens but it’s certainly seems to be triggered by me doing something; it doesn’t seem to just die unprompted
