gosh heckin' darnit. Oracle offer JRE downloads for Linux (from https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp) but that doesn't include the aarch64 version, and as far as I can tell they're doing their best to make it so there are no links to directly download a Linux aarch64 JRE (note: not the whole JDK) even though it definitely exists. Am I missing something obvious?

@sil depending on what you need the most distros usually have openjdk packaged.
