Seeing all the interesting new features in #emacs 31 I was anxious to try them out. Unfortunately, it's not available in my distro's repos...
So... I ended up learning how to use mkosi to build Emacs from source and package it in a #systemd sysext! 😅

@mavit thanks! I’d been using the package spec to help with the dependencies… don’t know why I didn’t think to check the configure flags too!
