In April 24, Trudi Warner, a retired social worker, stood outside Inner London Crown Court holding a sign that read:
"Jurors, you have an absolute right to acquit a defendant according to your conscience"
She was arrested for "intimidation of a jury" but at trial Mr. Justice Saini ruled in her favour, saying she was only stating the law outside a courthouse, and that can not be illegal
She was arrested again last week for doing exactly the same thing as were many others

@djm62 trains splitting is pretty common on some routes. And plenty of people usually get confused by which part is the front of the train.

@dick_turpin if the Labour party don't do something to rescue the whole situation I think they're sunk for decades.
@dick_turpin yeh indeed, he's always got an excuse as to why it's someone else fault and they should get sacked.
It's utterly pathetic given he campaigned on being whiter-than-white and was going to fix things up.
He's wasted a big majority and parliamentary time, arresting OAPs for the terrorism offence of holding up a placard.
It seems mr integrity doesn't really have any.

@dick_turpin either way Starmer should go. He's either lied or completely incompetent.
I struggle to buy that an FCO civil-servant would make such a decision with out being pressured in advance, or consulting via an undocumented back channel.
And then after it all blew up. You'd have thought the PM might actually go and find out the details. To which it seems he trusted 'a process'. The guy really have no political sense.

Zarah Sultana MP entered this into the public record by saying it in the House of Commons on 14 April 2026. Today it remains illegal for UK media to report on this. It can only be published in Hansard or the Parliament's own video service.
