@sil I'd be catching the same train every day for a new job for about three months before it arrived on time. At that point, I think you have to admit, it's not the train that's late, it's the timetable that's early.
@alcarney Re the configure options, you could do worse than to copy them from your distribution: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/emacs/blob/f45/f/emacs.spec
@minad Not quite yet. I think we can expect a release candidate shortly, though.
@sil Button Factory looked to be shifting a lot of roasts when I poked my nose in recently, so might be worth a try.
@sil I think The Red Lion is pizzas only, now. The staff recently moved across from Waterside Tap, where the Sunday roasts looked decent but didn't appear to be a big seller from what I could tell, so I can see why they might be tempted to try a different approach.
@foone @mjg59 @quixoticgeek Perfect.
Before IBM adopted the CD-ROM standard, it briefly backed the earlier Programmed Optical Storage (POS), a proprietary six inch optical disc system incompatible with 5.25" drive bays.
@mjg59 Duvet yes, cover no.
Re https://x.com/mavit/status/1546912578789675010, the answer was yes. I think I'm impressed that they light up after five years sitting in a cupboard somewhere.
@xanadu Oops, only just saw this. Should have written it on a sticky note and added it to the bottom of the schedule!
